About us

We are a group of orthodox Christians, who, with the blessing of our confessor, are trying to worship God in a world that seems to be more and more subject to the devil’s intrigues, starting from our Saviour’s words: "for where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them..." Hence, we would like to bring together all those people who really want to work for and care about their redemption.

"Ask and you shall be given...", our Saviour says, "pray incessantly!" is Christ our Lord’s advice. Prayer is the only thing that can get us closer, or even bring God within ourselves. Not only does a continuous, ardent prayer weaken the devil’s strength but it also unites us in spirit, thus allowing us to become real children of Merciful God.

In order to defeat the turmoil that surrounds us daily, the best solution is to reintroduce God’s presence in our lives. Of course, this is not an easy thing to do by yourself, that is why we need each other, and we need to be united with other orthodox Christians that want the same thing. Let us use time itself in order to defeat time borders, and thus reconnect with each other. One hour per week spent in reading the Psalter can make you part of a strong chain, where every link, every shackle works to powerfully upbear the others around.

Our goal

With God’s help, we would like this site to be a means of bringing together the orthodox Christians that want to actively participate in reading the Psalter at least one hour per week, hence forming a united group able to read the Psalter from one end to the other, every day of the week.

Such a group has already been formed by priests, monks and laymen, and allowing it to grow can only mean more spiritual strength brought together in order to help us achieve the ultimate goal, which is redemption, both for us and for our family, friends and peers.

The lists/groups you will find in the "active in reading the Psalter" section are meant to:

  • display the names of the people that are already involved in this "project";
  • offer the possibility for the others to join in and choose one of the hours and days which best suit their schedule (from the lists that are vacant);
  • present the newcomers with the names of the people involved, since everyone is kindly asked to mention in their prayer the rest of the group s/he is part of. This way, everyone is mentioned in the reading of the Psalter every single our of the day, all week long.

If you want to join in, please email us at:, mentioning:

  • your name (so that the other members can mention you in their prayer);
  • the group you can/want to join;
  • the hour and the day when you are willing to read the Psalter.

We suggest everyone who wants to join in to ask his/her confessor first.

May God help us so that, by means of praying together, we become a community!
